Registering Your Event
Once you have decided to book your wedding at our Flower Farm, registering your event is the next step. This gives us the information we need to complete your contract so that you can pay your deposit and reserve your date.
Your Contact Information
It will not be shared with anyone unless we have your permission. We do not sell or distribute contract information with anyone who is not directly involved with your wedding. But, we do need this information for your contract and to communicate with you about your wedding plans. So, please provide the BEST email address and phone numbers for reaching you regarding your wedding. Most of our contract will be by email and through our planning forms. But in the final couple of weeks before the wedding we may have reason to call or text you is there are unanswered details or weather conditions we need to discuss.
Your Guests & Your Wedding Package
The number of guests is estimated at this point. It might go up or down as you actually get your planning done and your RSVPs back. We’re pretty easy going about this. For example, if you purchase a package for up to 75 guests and then you end up with 83 coming, we’re not going to be counting people at the gate and charging you more money. But, if you have a package for 75 people and 95 show up we may need to charge you for additional wear, supplies, etc… This has not happened in the history of Dogwood Hill so far but you just never know.
The Difference Between the Packages
The Full Wedding Package offers 8 hours on the property on your wedding day, plenty of time for your personal finishing touches on the space, getting dressed, the ceremony, photos, a buffet reception, dancing and cleanup.
The Cake & Punch Celebration offers 5 hours on the property on your wedding day, time for getting dressed, the ceremony, photos, cake & punch, dancing and clean up. ** No meal of any kind can be served with this package. This package is designed for an “after dinner” ceremony followed by more of a party atmosphere without dining.
